Today I came upon this mantra by successful author, international speaker and consultant Richie Norton and I wanted to share it with you.
T.I.M.E = Today Is My Everything
Only today is guaranteed!
You have to live your life to the fullest …today!
Yesterday is gone and no one is certain whether there will be a tomorrow, a next week, a next year.
So give all you have to give now, participate, learn, be creative, show the world your talents, your uniqueness.
As Annemaree Rowley says it in her mediation:
“…You do indeed have a past, but not now,
And yes, you have a future, but not now, …
Now is all you ever get”

So don’t waste your now by living in the past or trying to imagine what will happen in the future.
How you spend your time now is more important than how long you spend it. You can do the same thing for 20 years and only have the experience of 1 year.
If you don’t study, try new ways, …you are stuck in your routine and you don’t generate new experiences.
Experience is the opposite of being creative.

In every job, in everything you do, you need to be creative, not only in what people call “creative jobs”.
So:
Challenge yourself,
Challenge your views,
Challenge the way you do things,
Challenge your goals! Yes, even your goals!

Read interesting books,
Watch and learn from experts,
Find your weaknesses and work on them.
Every day!
No matter what you do, where you work, where you live.

You can only give the world all you have to give by living to the fullest, being open and by willing to be your best you!
You have to S.T.A.R.T. now:
Serve : focus on the others, on what you can contribute, on what you can give.
In the spirit of what JF Kennedy said years ago: ” Don’t ask what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” I would like to make this larger and say:
Ask what you can do for the world!
Thank: be grateful for all you do have, it is already SO MUCH! Do not focus on what you don’t have.

Ask: we’re all in this together: ask for help, you don’t have to do everything on your own!

Receive: the more you give, the more you’ll receive. I am talking on every level here: spiritual, mental, emotional, practical.

Trust: have faith, believe in good things happening. The more you believe in what you want, the more things will happen the way you want them to happen.

In order to S.T.A.R.T., you will have to put your ego in the freezer ( jep! on minus 25°C minimum) and look at everything around you as opportunities.
Opportunities to:
Give
Help
Learn,
Share,
Change,
Be grateful,
Be kind,
Albert Einstein put it very wisely:

Choose the latter and you will feel the change in your life!
You will be curious and you’ll want to learn,
you’ll understand more and be more understanding,
you’ll be grateful because you’ll stop taking everything for granted, you’ll want to give and be part of what’s going on!
And guess what? Yes! You got it! You’ll be MUCH HAPPIER.

You’ll feel so much more connected with the others and the world around you. The world of which we all are a tiny part, the world where we belong!
You’ll see things with fresh eyes hence you’ll see things differently.
By being open, you’ll see new ways, solutions, possibilities.
So please, S.T.A.R.T. your life today, stay curious, keep learning!!
