Hello again!!

How are you? Feeling great? Feeling good? Feeling …’Garfield’?

As you can read and feel through my website and blogs, I strongly feel about taking good care of yourself! That includes healthy food, positive thinking, and of course excercising! Yes, indeed!

And now I already hear al lot of you sighing and saying yeah yeah I know but……and there comes a tsunami of excuses!

Send all your excuses packing! Make the threshold as low as possible! I even read a blog about someone who actually sleeps in his running gear so that when he wakes up, all he has to do is drink a glass of water, put on his shoes and off he goes!
Okay I personally don’t go that far but I just schedule my running as an equal part of all my activities. Not as something you will do when you feel you have the time, when the sun is shining, when there’s really nothing else to do….
You know you can squeeze it in your schedule and eventually – once it has become a natural part of your routine- you will enjoy it!!! Choose an activity you like: walking, running, cycling,…..and if possible do it together with someone else so that you feel motivated to go out the door and get that work out!!

 

 

Start slowly and gradually build up the time and the intensity of your work outs. But never change the routine in your agenda. It will soon feel normal that you put on your running shoes and after a while your body will ask for it because it makes you feel so much better, healthier and so much more energetic!

The fresh air, the muscles working, the wind that clears your mind,….it all makes you feel alive and afterwards you will be very proud of yourself!!
